Fathers Day and Baptism Service

Honoring the fathers of the church on Sunday morning, June 21st.

Each father received a gift of appreciation from the church. Special honors went to the Pastor, the eldest church father, and the newest church father.

On Sunday night, eight people in the church followed the example of Jesus and were baptized during the church service.

Womens Ministries

The WM group from our church recently took a tour of the gardens at the Martha Berry Museum in Rome, GA, and they also attended the COGOP Womens Retreat in Macon, GA.

Easter Egg Hunt 2009

The church held an Easter Egg hunt for the Plainville Community at the town rec center. We had a good gathering, despite the heavy rains the day before and the cooler temperatures. Hot dogs and snacks were served to all for lunch, and prizes were awarded for the finders of the prize eggs, and for the most eggs found in age groups.

Despite the heavy rains the night before and the cool weather of the day, there was a good turnout for the Easter Egg hunt.

The playground loaded with eggs.

There were so many eggs, there weren't enough places to hide them!.

A neighborhood dog decided to get in on the action - he was caught cracking the eggs and eating the candy out of them. Here he sits "under guard" to make sure he stays out of trouble.

No little puddle is going to stop this group!

Plenty for everyone.

Eyes on the prize!
